The client reached to me and asked to fix his iOS application that had almost no customers and was far from what he expected in the very beginning. After a quick discussion, I suggested the fix strategy and explained all stages that were required to make the app better.

At first, I provided a UI/UX review and presented all issues in a report file, including all screens, specific interactions, UI problems, UX problems, usability testing videos, and even bugs. This was the first step of the discovery phase. Then I began conducting user and market research.

The bank sync feature allows to connect more then 3000 financial institutions in 62 countries. The app doesn't store or collect any credentials from bank accounts. All data is secured.

My favorite feature which does filtering by using dynamic selection: all filters are depend on each other and display results according to user's selection. It is easy to find any transaction by hashtags, users, currency and so on.

The screen below represents the library of all UI components which were prepared according to the Atomic Design approach. This design system allows managing app design easily on different levels.

According to the app design I was also responsible for a responsive landing page design. The whole work required content creation, marketing activities and preparing the legal information.

Result

The updated version was successfully designed, developed, and launched on App Store. The user-to-customer conversion rate is almost 10%. 

We're gathering feedback, polishing experience, and developing new features.
